Long time coming!

My last blog post was in june of 2012. JUNE! That's almost a year ago. my goodness.

I remember a time when this blog was so therapeutic and i honestly wish i used it more in the last few months. I'm really excited to start writing again, although i have gotten quite rusty at it.
A whoooooole lot has happened in that time span and at the same time, i feel like nothing's changed. Let me give a quick recap of the last 10 months:

-God blessed me beyond my wildest expectations
-Quit my stressful job
-Moved to NYC
-Started school (i forgot how much fun being a student is)
-Made friends
-Went to haiti (More about this in my next post)
-Came back
-Realized i TRULY can't live in America for much longer...i always knew this but Haiti made it even clearer
-A whole lot of life events (doesn't get any more vague than this, does it? :) )
- More school
-Finished my first year of school (Like, 3 days ago)
-Looking forward to the next chapter!

That about sums it up. Doesn't seem like much, does it? In between those steps, i don't mention how GOD just is and how He continues to work behind the scenes. Every last thing that has happened in my life, whether good or bad, has been because of who i serve! seriously, having faith is one of the biggest things i accomplished last year.
 In reference to my next chapter, i will be moving to a new country to work. Where you ask? You will find out when i get there :). Some of you may already know but for those who don't, stay tuned! I can't even describe to you how excited i am about this trip! The last few days have been consumed by thoughts of this trip and making necessary arrangements. My conversations have also been consumed by the history and culture of the country from friends who are from there, making me even more excited. I will document my journey as much as i can while in country so stay tuned for that!
